Most people recognize Joan Marie Laurer, better known by her ring name Chyna, as an American professional wrestler, glamour model, author, pornographic actress, bodybuilder, and television personality.

Chyna Cause Of Death
Chyna, who was 46 years old, was discovered dead in her California home in April 2016. Following Chyna’s prolonged absence from social media, her manager Anthony Anzaldo became worried and later discovered her at home. According to the official autopsy report, Chyna overdosed on a number of different anxiety medications, pain relievers, and sleeping medicines before her away.
To better understand the symptoms of chronic traumatic encephalopathy, Chyna’s brain was donated for research. Several of her former wrestling teammates and other celebrities attended her memorial ceremony, which was held in Los Angeles in June. Chyna’s ashes were burned and dispersed into the Pacific Ocean.
Career Path In Wrestling
Chyna began studying professional wrestling in 1995 at Wledek “Killer” Kowalski’s school in Massachusetts. She began wrestling in local tournaments when she caught the attention of World Wrestling Foundation athletes (WWF). In 1997, Chyna was first hired by the WWF as a bodyguard before being promoted to a solo performing role.

In February of 1997, Chyna debuted for the World Wrestling Federation (WWF), and shortly thereafter, she was given the sarcastic ring name “Chyna,” after expensive china, which is typically fragile and difficult to maintain. There had never been a woman to compete in the Royal Rumble until 1999 when she entered the contest as the thirty-first participant.
As the year progressed, she also made history by becoming the first woman to ever earn a spot in the King of the Ring Competition. Chyna and the WWF had a productive couple of years after her departure in 2001.

For around a year beginning in 2002, she was a part of New Japan Pro-Wrestling. She stopped wrestling for a spell in the 2000s to explore other options, but she returned to the sport in 2011 by signing with Total Nonstop Action Wrestling. In May of 2011, she wrestled in her last-ever contest.
