The Africanized Bee, also known as killer bees, was responsible for the deaths of two dogs that residents of McAllen, Texas, last week owned. The NBC station KVEO in Brownsville, Texas, the dogs were attacked by bees at a residence in McAllen, and as a result, they passed away there.

On Thursday morning, the city received a call about a bee attack on N. 7th Court. Code enforcement officers responded to the ring after obtaining a warrant to enter the vacant home where the hive was located to investigate the situation.
