Hunt For Missing Texas Mom according to authorities, a Texas mother is wanted for abandoning her two children for over two months late last year. Raven Yates was arrested Thursday near Roman Forest, Texas, on two counts of abandoning/endangering a child with the intent to return, according to authorities.
On Nov. 14, 2022, the father of one of the children, a 12-year-old girl, complained to authorities that she had been left home alone with her 3-year-old brother since Sept. 28.

For much of this period, they allegedly lacked food and supplies, and the two children were not enrolled in school.
According to authorities, the father, who resides out of state, traveled in from California in November after his ex-wife saw her daughter, Yates, alone in Mobile, Alabama. He realized the two youngsters were alone when his daughter asked him to send them meals on a daily basis.

He called the cops and met them at the residence where the two kids were staying. The father does not live in the house, but he pays the rent, according to Roman Forest Police Chief Stephen Carlisle in an interview with ABC News.

The 12-year-fathers old’s sent the two children to live with their grandmother in Mobile, Alabama.

Yates also reported that her third child, a 14-year-old, had gone away a few weeks before she allegedly abandoned the children in September, according to police. The child was also able to make it to their grandmother’s residence in Mobile.

The three children are currently safe in Alabama with their grandmother. Yates is believed to be still in the Mobile area, and she has been posting on her social media sites on a regular basis, according to Carlisle.

Yates has been missing since police issued a warrant for her arrest on December 6. Police are hoping that members of the public would come forward with information that will assist them in apprehending Yates. ABC News’ request for comment was not immediately responded to.
